Being an entrepreneur is not like a pretend play for a 5 years old child. It requires a persistent, determined, cold-hearted, and a mastermind for the business that you own. These days, business owners no longer struggling financially just to develop the brick-and-mortar shops as lots of tools to increase visibility and presence to customers already available online.

Entrepreneurs also no longer required to spend hundreds or even thousands of dollars for the attractive websites since free platforms for online businesses are everywhere. There are even free downloadable applications available in the play store or android store. I'm not sure about other people, but I've started organizing my online businesses for some reasons - better living.

There are too many great platforms to list down here, so I have narrowed it to just the top five of my favorites:

1. eBay
eBay Inc. ("eBay) is a multinational e-commerce corporation, facilitating online consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales. You can register as a seller for free. However, for the item listing, you may need to note there are certain limits applied especially for "beginner" level such as value limit and the addition of second category, sub-title, fixed price listing, multiple listing with sum limit of $500, vintage or jewelry items. I may not know the most accurate information but you can check out from here.

2. VigLink
VigLink is an outbound-traffic monetization service for publishers, forums, and bloggers. As an industry leading content network, VigLink connects over 60,000 advertisers with over 2 million sites and apps through innovative advertisement technology. If you are an avid blogger and love to share interesting stories, maybe you can take the chance to try out VigLink. Furthermore, it is free of charge! Great opportunity does not come by every day. 3. Etsy
Etsy is a good platform for the handmade items, trend-setter accessories, vintage jewelry, and so much more. You just have to link your Etsy account to PayPal account to be able to send and receive money. A listing fee of $0.20 will be charged everytime you list an item. It is best to set up your shop's site on Etsy before start selling. You will need to add banner, description, shipping option and etc. Find out more about selling on Etsy or becoming Etsy's affiliate marketer.

4. Lazada
Lazada is a fast-growing Southeast Asia's online shopping and selling destination. If you want to tackle customers in the whole Southeast Asia region, try to register your business with Lazada Partner Support. The best part is, no fees charged for registration. You can choose 3 types of user: a customer, a partner (affiliate marketer) or a seller. Click here to learn more about Lazada.

5. Mudah.my
Mudah.my is an online classified-ads website that caters primarily to the Malaysian market. Although it is not internationally recognized, don't look down to this platform at all. I've experienced many good experiences selling pre-owned items and all was done in very simple steps. IKEA products, branded and unbranded second-handed furniture are the fast-selling items of all. I used to get instant buyer less than 24 hours many times before. Click here to check out Mudah.my.
