Keeping Green & Saves Your Money

by - September 02, 2010

How to keep earth green and at the same time saves your money? We have been provoked by the water shortage news around the globe as well as pollution issues which is considered as out of control by now. As the population is increasing drastically and booming property market, many countries are implementing major actions; one of the actions is by banning the usage of plastic bag. We are in the hope that no more plastics being thrown around like chewing gums in the future. But most of us would consider that effort as minor; we would rather use the f.o.c plastic bag obtained by purchasing goods at stores as rubbish bag. We certainly ask the question, "isn't that cheap rather than buying black or blue rubbish bag at the stores? Well, I just say "yes". But we would not have to think any further because all we need is urgent attention followed by immediate action. Try to put four (4) baskets/ compartment in the kitchen or anywhere around the house to separate Paper, Aluminum/ Steel, Glass and Other waste. Hopefully, we could teach our entire family to learn organizing items, recycling and saves money at the same time. As in mega stores right now, many would offer shopping bag at not-so-low price which made customers think twice to purchase it. Practice keeping cute and simple cloth bag and use it for shopping instead of buying new one. Cloth or paper bags are usually given away if you buy items from convenient stores. So, you can save money without having to buy new shopping bag on weekends! I show you samples of mine here:

2 steps to save money on shopping bags:

[1] Keep the cloth/ paper bag in your car or borrow it from friends/ family
[2] Re-use it whenever you go shopping
